Children are demanding when it comes to holidays and want to be entertained. Much more interesting than museums for children from Western European countries is their own grandparents‘ village in the countryside somewhere in the former Yugoslavia.
There, you can really enjoy yourself during the Easter holidays when fields and gardens are being tilled.
And then, when you come back in the summer holidays, you can harvest what you have grown yourself.
Plus, here, tax-free and without the obligation of having to look after them all the time, there are dogs to spoil.
In some areas you may find also something which has become very rare in Western Europe: Snow!
